Adi Kailash Yatra Itinerary & Modification Policy
The Mountain Decides the Path: While we plan meticulously, the Himalayas strictly follow their own rhythm. This document outlines our official Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy regarding route changes, weather delays, and safety protocols.
Nature Holds the Final Map
“We do not conquer the peak; we visit it by permission.” If the Uttarakhand Administration or ITBP closes the route to Jolingkong due to snow, we do not just “cancel” your day. We Pivot.
The “Darma Valley Pivot” Protocol
Plan A: The Original Route
If permits and weather align, we proceed as scheduled to Jolingkong (Adi Kailash) and Nabhidhang (Om Parvat).
Plan B: The Pivot
If the main route is blocked, we seamlessly divert the group to the parallel Darma Valley.
The Experience: You explore the stunning Panchachuli Base Camp, Dugtu, and the rich Rung culture.Fair Play Agreement: By booking, you agree that a diversion to Darma Valley due to official roadblocks counts as a successful completion of the tour services under our Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy.
Delays & Extension Costs
If the trip is extended due to landslides, heavy snowfall, or weather blocking our return, expenses are shared as follows:
-
Accommodation & Food (Extra Days): Borne by the Participant (On Actuals). We will arrange stays at the best negotiated rates.
-
Transport Waiting Charges: Borne by the Participant (Divided equally among the group).
-
Our Logistics Support: Free. We do not charge any service fee for arranging emergency logistics during delays.
Frequently Asked Questions: Policy & Refunds
Why is the Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy strict on route changes?
The Himalayas are unpredictable. Our Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy is designed to prioritize safety over sightseeing. If the ITBP closes the Jolingkong route, we must pivot instantly to ensuring the group’s safety in lower valleys like Darma.
What if I feel unfit to ascend further from Kuti?
Your safety is our priority (“We are your shadow”). If you feel unwell or cannot handle the altitude at Kuti, you will not be sent back alone. You can rest at our homestay in Kuti while the group completes the Darshan. The Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy allows for this flexibility to ensure your health comes first.
What happens if I get AMS and cannot continue?
Medical evacuation is not covered under the package cost. However, under our “Logistics Support Guarantee,” we will arrange a vehicle for your return to Dharchula/Base Camp immediately (transport cost borne by you).
Review this Adi Kailash Itinerary Policy carefully. Navigating the Himalayas requires flexibility, patience, and trust in your local guides.
