Adi Kailash Terms & Conditions 2026: Official Safety & Refund Policy

Read the Official Adi Kailash Terms and Conditions 2026. Understanding our refund policy and safety protocols ensures a secure Yatra for all pilgrims.

Current for Yatra Season 2026
1. The Sacred Contract (Nature of Journey)
You acknowledge that the Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra involves travel to high-altitude zones (above 14,000 ft) near international borders. By booking, you accept the inherent risks associated with rough terrain, unpredictable weather, and remote locations.
2. The 'Rung Dharma' (Code of Conduct)
  • Respect Local Customs: We are guests in the sacred lands of the Rung community. Respect for shrines and local traditions is non-negotiable.
  • Zero Trace Policy: We strictly prohibit littering. All non-biodegradable waste (wrappers, bottles, batteries) must be carried back to Dharchula.
3. Transportation & Logistics
  • Vehicle Suitability: Given the rugged terrain, we use high-clearance vehicles (Mahindra Thar/ Scorpio). Seat allocation is rotational daily to ensure fairness.
  • Breakdowns: In the rare event of mechanical failure or landslides, we will arrange alternative transport. Adi Kailash Devnagri is not liable for missed onward connections.
4. Medical Fitness & Self-Declaration
Altitudes exceed 14,000 ft. By booking, you declare you do not suffer from severe cardiac or respiratory issues. Please review our Pre Yatra Essentials page to understand the medical forms required for the Inner Line Permit (ILP).
5. Itinerary Flexibility
The Himalayas dictate the schedule. The Trip Captain reserves the final right to alter the route or halt the trip if safety is compromised by weather, army movement, or road conditions. No refunds are issued for 'Force Majeure' changes.
6. Photography & Media Rights
We may use trip photos/videos for promotion on our official channels. If you prefer privacy, please inform your Guide at the start. Note: Drone usage near the Om Parvat border is strictly regulated and is at your own legal risk.
7. Lost & Damage of Property
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal gear (cameras, phones) during the journey. Participants are advised to insure expensive equipment. Any damage to homestay or vehicle property caused by a participant will be charged directly to them.
8. Feedback & Reviews
Your feedback helps us grow. We welcome honest reviews on public platforms. However, if you face an issue during the trip, please inform the Trip Captain immediately so we can resolve it in real-time, rather than reporting it after the journey.
9. Offers & Discounts
Promotional offers or group discounts are valid only for the specific dates mentioned. They cannot be combined with other offers or claimed retrospectively for existing bookings.
10. Liability & Jurisdiction
While we employ professional safety standards, Adi Kailash Devnagri is not liable for injury, sickness, or delay caused by natural calamities. Any legal disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pithoragarh District Administration, Uttarakhand.
